Traveling by public bus through Peru is a comfortable and economic way of getting to know this fascinating country. We will send you your first class tickets before your departure and book hotels and shuttle services (one day tours to destinations that cannot be reached by public bus). In addition, our competent English-speaking guides will give you the best possible service. From time to time your own initiative will also be required since you will sometimes be without a guide. A constant guide will only accompany guests who travel in our small group tours or in private tours with guide. If you go by public bus, You will need to take a taxi from the bus station to the hotel and vice versa and you will visit cities and most archeological sites on your own. On the other hand, this will give you a lot of freedom!
What type of luggage is recommened for the bus tours?
It is not a problem to travel with a big suitcase on the bus. You will check-in the suitcases at the bus and you get a receipt in exchange. With this receipt you will get back your suitcase when leaving the bus. Normally the hotel is not far away from the bus terminal, we recommend to take a backpack or a small trolly. The pavements in Peru are not even and often very small, so it is not advisable to take a big suitcase when traveling by bus.
