Day 01: LIMA: Arrival in Lima
After your arrival at the you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel
Day 02: LIMA / TRUJILLO
The journey through southern Peru starts today with a transfer to the bus station around noon and a ride to Trujillo, the "City of Eternal Spring". Trujillo is the third largest city of Peru and about 600 kilometers north of Lima. You will arrive there after a 9 hour drive and receive a transfer to your Hotel.
Day 03: TRUJILLO
The day is at your free disposal. You can discover the beautiful city of Trujillo or you can make excursions in the surrounding area.
Option 1: Templo del Sol y de la Luna
Visit the Temple of the Sun and the Moon. Both belong to the Moche culture and bear witness to the artistic abilities of this culture. A very interesting museum that gives an insight into the unique pre-Inca culture was opened recently.

Option 2: Chan Chan
Visit Chan Chan, once the largest adobe city in the world. Chan Chan was the capital of the Chimu Culture. In the old days, up to 60,000 people lived there and accumulated Riches of Gold and Silver. In 1986, Chan Chan was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Day 04: TRUJILLO / CHICLAYO
In the morning, you'll get a transfer to the bus station. The bus ride of about 3.5 hours takes you further north to Chiclayo. There you'll get a transfer to Hotel Costa del Sol (or a similar hotel). The rest of the day is at free disposal. Chiclayo is also called the "Peruvian capital of friendship". Get embraced by the warmth and joy of the people in this city

Day 05: CHICLAYO / LIMA
In the morning, You'll visit Sipan where the grave of the famous "Men of Sipan" was discovered. In archeology, this discovery is considered one of the most important in recent decades. Afterwards you will stroll through Tucume, the Valley of the Pyramids. For a long time the Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl was working there. In the evening we travel to Lima in comfortable night bus.

Day 06: LIMA: City Tour: You'll receive a transfer to Hotel San Agustin Colonial. In the afternoon, you go on a city tour of Lima and and visit the historic center, the Plaza San Martín, the main square, the City Hall, the Government Palace, the Cathedral and We will marvel at the beautiful balconies of the houses from the colonial era.
Day 07: LIMA / PARACAS / NAZCA
Early in the morning you'll leave Lima and drive south to Paracas. The trip on the Panamericana road takes about 4 hours. We will take a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, which belong to the Natural Reserve of Paracas. There you'll have the opportunity to observe sea lions, penguins, pelicans etc. On the way back we stop at the famous "Candelabro", a gigantic figure in the style of the Nazca lines. Afterwards we continue our journey to Nazca by bus.
Optional: Flight over Nazca Lines.
With a small plane, we'll fly for 45 minutes over the mysterious Nazca Lines, huge geoglyphs in the Nazca desert that represent animals, birds and geometrical figures that can only be seen from the air.

Day 08: NAZCA / AREQUIPA
The morning is at your free disposal. In the afternoon, your journey by public bus takes you through deserts and valleys along the coast to the white city of Arequipa where we arrive in the evening and get a transfer to the hotel.
Day 09: AREQUIPA: City tour on your own
The day is at your free disposal. On your tour through Arequipa in the morning, You will visit the main square, one of the most beautiful ''Plazas'' in Peru and the Cathedral which is an example of Peruvian architecture of the 19th century. It houses magnificent treasures of gold and silver. Afterwards you will walk through ''La Compañia'', a Jesuit church and one of the most beautiful churches in Arequipa with its wonderful façade and columns with spiral carvings, crowns of laurel, flowers, birds, etc. On closer examination you will realize the indigenous influence. The angels have indigenous faces and one of them is wearing a crown of feathers. Afterwards you visit Santa Catalana, a small town from the 17th century. The town was opened to the public in 1970. The Monastery of Santa Catalina gives the visitor an insight into its 400 year old history. You will marvel at the numerous courtyards and gardens, the kitchen, the room of the slaves and the washing areas made of stone.The requirements for entry into this monastery were the strictest of Peru. Today about 20 nuns live in the part of the monastery, which formerly housed up to 500 nuns.

Day 10: AREQUIPA / PUNO
In the morning, we'll receive a transfer to the bus station and continue our 5.5 hour trip in a comfortable public bus to Puno. There we get a transfer to the hotel and the afternoon is at free disposal.
Day 11: PUNO
The day is at free disposal.
Optional: In the morning, You will start our boat tour on Lake Titicaca and visit the swimming island of Uros. Uros is an old nation on Lake Titicaca that is also called "Acuatica". The Uros constructed the island by putting layers of cattails from the lake around the edges. The same material is used for the construction of houses and boats.
Your next stop is the island Taquile where you will get to know its inhabitants, the Quechua. The Quechua have developed an efficient social system over the generations and are well-known for their knitting art. Lunch is taken on the island and in the afternoon you return to Puno.

Day 12: PUNO / CUSCO
Early in the morning, you'll start a 9 hour journey to Cusco in a public bus. Enroute to Cusco, You will pass the mountain range Vilcanota from where a beautiful view over the snow-covered peaks of "La Raya· and "Kunurana" can be enjoyed. You will also visit Pucará, Rajchi and Andahuaylilla before we arrive in Cusco where we get a transfer to a selected hotel.
Day 13: CUSCO:
The day is at your free your disposal. Optional: City tour in Cusco. On the city tour, you will visit the Main Palace, the Cathedral and the temple of the sun or the Koricancha. You continue your trip to the Inca ruins Kenko, Rambomachay, Puca Pucara and the fort of Sacsayhuamán. The fortress is famous for its huge stones, which were interconnected with an astounding precision to form the outer walls of the complex. You return to Cusco

Day 14: CUSCO: Sacred valley of the Inca (Only Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday)
The day is at your free disposal.
Optional: First you will take a walk to the ruins of Pisak and from there you will enjoy the marvelous sight over the surrounding area. In Pisak, you will visit the typical Indio market which is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Indulge in the tradtions of the locals on a typical market day. (On Sundays, Church Mass is held in Quechua, in the language of the indigenous people). In the afternoon, You will enjoy the drive through the Urubamba valley to Ollantaytambo. The fort of Ollantaytambo was built to guard the entrance to the valley and to protect the city from invasions. The site consists of numerous stacked terraces. You will also have the opportunity to walk around the village and get an impression of the military, religious and cultural centre of the Incas. Return to Cusco

Day 15: CUSCO: Excursion to Machu Picchu
Early in the morning, you will take the transfer to the station of Poroy from where we start our train trip to Machu Picchu. From the train station in Aguas Calientes, You will go by bus up to the beautiful citadel. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. During the guided tour, You will also visit the main plaza, the round tower, the Holy Sun dial, the royal rooms, the temples of the three windows and the cemetery. There will be time left for a private stroll. In the afternoon, We will take the train back to Poroy where we get a transfer to the hotel.
Tag 16: CUSCO / LIMA –INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
Transfer to the Airport in Cusco. Flight to Lima and transfer to Miraflores. In the afternoon transfer to the Airport.
