DAY 1: LIMA
After your arrival at the International Airport in Lima you will be picked up by one of our guides and you will be taken to your hotel.
DAY 2: LIMA
Today, You'll do a city tour of Lima and visit the main attractions such as the "City of Kings", Plaza San Martin, City Hall, Government Palace and the Cathedral in the historic center. Take time to marvel at the balconies of the beautiful houses from the colonial era. The famous Larco Herrero Museum will show you its treasures from pre-Columbian times. Later you'll relax in the hotel and the afternoon is at your leisure.
DAY 3: LIMA / HUANCAYO
Today, you'll receive a transfer to the Desamparados train station and make a unique 1st Class train journey from Lima to Huancayo. This trail was once the highest in the world. At first the journey goes to the city centre of Lima and then it leads up to the Tíclio Pass (4,818 m). Then the journey takes you through the Mantaro valley to Jauja (First Capital of Peru). In the evening, You´ll arrive in Huancayo at the hotel Presidente***. (B,L).

DAY 4: HUANCAYO, HUANCAVELICA
You'll continue your journey through Peru. With a private guide, you'll go from Huancayo to Huancavelica. Enjoy the beautiful view over the peaks of the Cordilleras. Arrival in Huancavelica in the early afternoon. you will have time to explore Huancavelica by yourself for the rest of the day. The city is home to beautiful churches. Overnight stay at the Hotel Presidente***. (B)
DAY 5: HUANCAVELICA, AYACUCHO
Today you'll receive Private Transport from Huancavelica to Ayacucho. The journey takes between 5 and 6 hours. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You may want to take a stroll through the city of Ayacucho. Your overnight stay will be at your selected hotel. (B)
DAY 6: AYACUCHO
In the morning, You'll pay a visit to Wari, One of the most important Archaeological sites of the Wari culture. The Zenith of the Wari culture dates back to the 9th and 10th century AD. Later you'll visit Pampa Quinua and return to the hotel in the afternoon. (B)
DAY 7: AYACUCHO, PARACAS
Today,you leave Ayacucho in the morning and drive over ''Libertadores'' highway to Paracas. The journey will take 6 hours and leads you over to Puna. You'll arrive in the early afternoon and spend the rest of the day in the city. Before you return to your selected hotel, You will enjoy a walk at the beach in Paracas. (B)
DAY 8: PARACAS, NAZCA
Today you will make a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands which belong to the Natural Reserve of Paracas. You will be able to observe Sea lions, Penguins, Pelicans and other Seabirds. On the way back, You'll stop at the famous "Candelabro", a gigantic figure in the style of the Nazca Lines. Around noon, The private transport takes us to Nazca. On the way we visit the Huacachina Oasis and the regional museum in Ica. You'll arrive in Nazca in the afternoon and return to the Hotel. (B)
Optional: For 45 minutes, you fly with a Small Plane for $105.00 USD per person over the mysterious Nazca Lines, huge geoglyphs in the Nazca desert representing animals, birds and geometrical figures that can only be seen from the air.
DAY 9: NAZCA
In the morning, You will visit the cemetery of Chauchilla 25 km south of Nazca, where numerous Mummies from the Nazca culture are buried. In the afternoon the journey will take us to Cahuachi, the former capital of the Nazca culture. After the visit you return to your hotel. (B)
DAY 10: NAZCA, AREQUIPA
The private transport takes you to Arequipa and on the way you'll pass an impressive Desert and Beautiful valleys and arrive in the white city of Arequipa in the early afternoon where you will stay in a selected hotel. (B)
DAY 11: AREQUIPA
Today in the morning, You will make a tour through Arequipa and visit the Main Square, one of the most beautiful “Plazas” in Peru and the Cathedral which is an example of Peruvian architecture of the 19th century. It houses magnificent treasures of gold and silver. Afterwards you will walk through “La Compañia”, a Jesuit church and one of the most beautiful churches in Arequipa . In the afternoon, you will visit the monastery Santa Catalina. where you'll marvel at the numerous courtyards and gardens, the kitchen, the room of the slaves and the washing areas made of stone. In former times, the requirements for entry into this monastery were the strictest of Peru. Today about 20 nuns live in the part of the monastery, which formerly housed up to 500 nuns.

DAY 12: AREQUIPA
Early in the morning,You start your amazing and beautiful half day bus trip to Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world (3.400m). On our way you cross the "Pampa Cañahuas" in the National Park of "Aguada Blanca", habitat of vicuña and alpacas, and you pass the pre-Columbian terraces that are still used by local Collaguas. Later you relax in your hotel in Colca Canyon to get used to the altitude.
Optional: Trip to ''La Calera'' Thermal springs.
DAY 13: COLCA, CROSS OF CONDOR, PUNO
Early in the morning, You will start our tour to the "Cruz del Condor" where you have the opportunity to observe the world's largest bird of prey in the wild. On your way back, You'll visit the villages of Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma and Maca and observe the local population, whose life has not changed significantly since Inca times. In the afternoon, you'll receive a transfer to Puno where we stay in our hotel. (B)
DAY 14: TITIKAKASEE
In the morning, You will take an impressive boat trip on Lake Titicaca and visit the swimming island of the Uros. The Uros are an old nation on Lake Titicaca that is also called "Acuatica". The Uros constructed the island by putting layers of cattails from the lake around the edges. The same material is used for the construction of houses and boats. Your next stop is the island Taquile where you will get to know its inhabitants, the Quechua. The Quechua have developed an efficient social system over the generations and are well-known for their knitting art. Lunch is taken on the island and in the afternoon you continue to Amantani where you'll stay overnight. (B,L,D).
DAY 15: AMANTANI, PUNO
The morning is at leisure. You may want to take a walk and discover the island of Amantani with its typical Inca houses. In the afternoon, You'll return to the selected hotel in Puno. (B)
DAY 16: PUNO, CUSCO
Early in the morning, You start with your 9 Hour bus ride in the Inka Express to Cusco. On your way you drive along the mountain range of Vilcanota with its impressive snowcapped peaks "La Raya" and "Kunurana" and you will visit Andahuaylillas and Rajchi. Upon arrival in Cusco you get a transfer to your hotel.
DAY 17: CUSCO
On a city tour in Cusco, You will visit the main square with the cathedral and the temple of the sun or the Koricancha. You continue your trip to the Inca ruins Kenko, Rambomachay, Puca Pucara and to the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which was strategically built on a hill and dominates Cusco. The fortress is famous for its huge stones, which are interconnected with an astounding precision to form the outer walls of the complex. You'll return to your hotel and the afternoon is at your leisure. (B)
DAY 18: CUSCO, SACRED VALLEY
In the Sacred Valley of the Incas, You will visit the lively and colorful market of Pisac on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Here, you'll get acquainted with the customs of the indigenous people on a typical market day. On Sundays, Mass is held in Quechua, the language of the local population. In the afternoon,You'll take the bus through the valley of Urubamba to the fortress of Ollantaytambo that was built on several terraces to guard the entrance of the valley and protect it from invasions. You will also stroll through the narrow streets of the village and get an insight into the Military, Religious and Cultural Center of the Incas and later receive a transfer to Urubamaba where you'll stay overnight in a selected hotel. (B)
DAY 19: SACRED VALLEY, MACHU PICCHU
In the morning, You'll get a transfer to the train station of Ollantaytambo. You start your trip to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas. From the train station in Aguas Calientes the bus will take you up to the beautiful citadel. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. During the guided tour, you will visit the main plaza, the round tower, the holy sun dial, the royal rooms, the temples of the three windows and the cemetery. There will be time left for a private stroll. In the afternoon the train takes you back to Ollantaytambo from where you will get a transfer to Cusco where we will stay overnight. (B)
DAY 20: CUSCO, LIMA
You receive a transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, You get a transfer to your hotel. A day-room is ready for you until your departure. Afternoon transfer to the airport. (B)
