Day 1: Arrival in Lima
After your arrival at the international airport of Lima you will be picked up and brought to Hotel Britania.
Day 2: Lima, Museum Larco Herrera
Today, we make a city tour of Lima and visit the main attractions of the "City of Kings" like the the Plaza San Martin, the City Hall, the Government Palace and the Cathedral in the historic center. We will marvel at the balconies of the beautiful houses from the colonial era. The famous Larco Herrero Musium will show us its treasures from pre-Columbian times. Later we relax in the hotel and the afternoon is at leisure. You may want to enjoy a coffee on the main square or take a walk along the Pacific
Day 3: Arrival in Cusco
In the morning, you'll receive a transfer to the Airport and fly to Cusco. After your arrival you are brought to Hotel San Agustin Internacional. In the afternoon we make a city tour through Cusco and visit the Cathedral and the Sun Temple or Korikancha. You will also enjoy a stroll in the picturesque artisan quarter of San Blas.
Day 4: Cusco, Sacred Valley of the Incas
In the morning, you will visit the Inca ruins Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which was strategically built on a hill and dominates Cusco. The fortress is famous for its huge stones, which are interconnected with an astounding precision to form the outer walls of the complex. Later, your journey leads us to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In Pisac, we visit the typical colorful market with many local products. Here, you will get acquainted with the customs of the population on a typical market day. On Sundays, Mass is held in Quechua, the language of the local population. In the afternoon you arrive at Hotel San Agustin La Recoleta in Urubamba.
Day 5: Sacred Valley: Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu
In the morning, you'll visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo that was built on several terraces to guard the entrance of the valley and protect it from invasions. We will also stroll through the narrow streets of the village and get an insight into the military, religious and cultural center of the Incas. Later the journey leads us to the salt mines of Maras. Here the famous Mara salt is produced according to ancient tradition. The microclimate of the terraces of Moray, our next destination, has been used for agricultural research for decades. In the afternoon we take the train to Machu Picchu where we get a transfer to the Hotel Inti In Select or to an equivalent hotel.
Day 6: Machu Picchu, Cusco
The bus will take you up to the beautiful citadel. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. During the guided tour we will visit the main plaza, the round tower, the holy sun dial, the royal rooms, the temples of the three windows and the cemetery. There will be time left for a private stroll. In the afternoon the train takes us back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy from where we get a transfer to Cusco and to the Hotel San Agustín Internacional.
Day 7: Cusco, Puno
Early in the morning we start a 9 hour journey to Puno, the city on the banks of Lake Titicaca. En route to Puno we pass the mountain range Vilcanota from where a beautiful view over the snow-covered peaks of "La Raya· and "Kunurana" can be enjoyed. We will also visit Pucará, Rajchi and Andahuaylilla before we arrive in Puno at the Hotel Qelgatani.
Day 8: Puno
In the morning we will start our boat tour on Lake Titicaca and visit the swimming island of the Uros. The Uros are an old nation on Lake Titicaca that is also called "Acuatica". The Uros constructed the island by putting layers of cattails from the lake around the edges. The same material is used for the construction of houses and boats. In the afternoon we visit the grave towers Sillustani on Lake Umayo. These beautiful constructions date back to the time of the Inca and the Tiwanaku. Later we return to Puno.(B)
Day 9: Puno, Copacabana, Sun Island
In the mornin, You will visit the famous church of Copacabana. Afterwards we drive to the southern part of the Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. You will marvel at the Inca garden, the Inca steps and at the Inca palace. From several viewpoints we will enjoy an unforgettable view of Lake Titicaca. We stay in the Tacana Lodge on Sun Island overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 10: Sun Island, Copacabana, La Paz
In the morning the journey takes us to La Paz. On the way we visit the famous complex of Tiwanaku, which is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Tiwanaku at Lake Titicaca, located 72 km from La Paz, was once the capital of the Tiwanaku culture and is considered the cradle of American civilizations. In this old, stunning city we will admire the Kalasaya or Temple of the Sun, the semi-subterranean Temple of the Earth, the Akapana Pyramid and the legendary Sun Gate.

Day 11: La Paz, Moon Valley
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and we will first visit the famous market of the witches and the colonial church of San Francisco. Then the city tour continues to Plaza Murillo with the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the Congress buildings. We will also pay a visit to the semi-underground replica of the temple of the Tiwanaku culture before we cross the residential districts Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. Later, in the Moon Valley, we have the opportunity for a hike and a visit of a pottery shop. The afternoon is at your leisure.
Day 12: La Paz, Uyuni, Colchani
In the morning, you'll get a transfer to the airport and fly to Uyuni, where we will be brought to the Hotel Luna Salada. The adventure begins when we get into the 4X4 vehicles and cross the salt desert. Isla de Pescado, an island full of cacti and located in the endless salt desert, is a paradise for landscape photographers. The tree high cacti make an amazing contrast with the blue sky and the white ground. We will enjoy an excellent picnic in one of the most beautiful regions of Bolivia. In the afternoon we return to Uyuni
Day 13: Uyuni, Ojo de Perdiz
This part of our journey is similar to an expedition. We drive through a landscape of wide slopes that is inhabited by llamas, vicunas and vizcachas. 6000 meter high volcanoes accompany us on the horizon. The white salt, the deep blue sky, the red or green lagoons and the snowy peaks in the distance will make an unforgettable impression on us. At the Red Lagoon we have the opportunity to watch flamingos. We will stay in the Hotel Tayka del Desierto overnight.
Day 14: Ojo de Perdiz, San Pedro de Atacama
Today we drive through the desert Siloli, known for its surreal stone trees. Despite the altitude of 4250 Meters, there is a diverse fauna and flora and you may see vicunas and flamingos. The Sol de Manana Geysire leaves boiling hot mud pools, but in the hot Polke springs we can take a relaxing bath. Later the journey takes us to the Valle de Dali and over the border to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. We stay overnight in the Hotel Don Tomás.
Day 15: San Pedro de Atacama

Day 16: Arrival in Santiago de Chile
We receive a transfer to the airport of Calama and fly to Santiago de Chile. From there we are brought to the Hotel Monte Carlo.
Day 17: Santiago de Chile
During the city tour we will admire the most important sights of the capital of Chile like the "Plaza de las Armas" and the Santa Lucia Hill, where Santiago de Chile was founded in 1541. The afternoon is at your free disposal.
Day 18: Santiago de Chile
