DAY 1: LIMA: Arrival in Lima.
Arrival at the International Airport in Lima, One of our empoyees will be expecting you to take you to your hotel.
DAY 2: LIMA: City tour and Archaeological museum.
Today you will take a Lima City tour and you will learn about the most important sights in Lima, the "City of the Kings": the historical centre, Plaza San Martín, the main place, the city hall, the regional council, the cathedral and the beautiful balconies from the colonial era. Afterwards you are going to visit the museum of Anthropology and Archaeology, with the biggest collection of prehistorical art. This is a good way to get an overview of the peruvian history. Return to the hotel. Afternoon at own disposal.
Day 3: BALLESTAS ISLANDS / NAZCA: Excursion to the Ballestas Islands.
Today you take a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, which are a part part of the the nature preserve of Paracas. You have the opportunity to see sea lions, penguins, pelicans and other sea birds. On your way back you'll stop at the famous "Candelabro", a gigantic figure in the style of the Nazcas. In the late afternoon journey to Nazca.
Optional: Flight over the Nazca lines.
With a small airplane we fly over the mystic Nazca lines, enormous geoglyphs in the Nazca desert, which represent animals, birds, and geometrical figures. The geoglyphs can only be seen from the air. The flight takes approx. 45 minutes.
DAY 4: NAZCA / AREQUIPA.
Morning drive to Arequipa with private transport. On the way we will pass through some deserts and valleys. Arrival in the white city Arequipa in the ealry afternoon.

DAY 5: AREQUIPA: City tour and visit of Santa Catalina abbey.
In the morning,You will start your city tour in Arequipa. Visits will be the main square, the cathedral, an example of peruvian architecture in the 19th century, "La Compañia", an old jesuit church with a spectacular facade with spiral carvings, laurel crowns, flowers and birds.
After that you'll visit the Santa Catalina abbey, Santa Catalina is a small city build in the 17th century; this place was just opened for visitors in 1970 after a 400-year closure. You can also visit the courtyards, gardens, the kitchen, slave-rooms. The requirements to enter the abbey are very strict and today 20 nuns are living in the abbey. Return to the hotel. The afternoon is at your disposal.
DAY 6: AREQUIPA: Colca Canyon.
You will be starting our half-day tour early in the morning. Destination is the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world (3.400 m). you will be driving through the "Pampa Cañahuas" in the Aguada Blanca National Park. En route we see terraces which are still used by local collaguas. Overnight in a selected hotel.

DAY 7: COLCA: Cross of the Condor – PUNO.
You'll start our tour to the "Cruz del Condor" very early in the morning, where you have the opportunity to see the biggest bird of prey in the wild. On the way back home we visit the villages of Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma and Maca. They are still living the same way as in the Inca times. In the afternoon transfer to Puno.

DAY 8: PUNO / LA PAZ: Visiting Tihuanaco
In the morning, You'll drive along the Titicaca Lake to Desaguadero, which is at the border to Bolivia. From here on we will continue to La Paz. You'll visit the famous Tihuanaco constructions, which today is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tiahuanaco was the center of the Tiahuanaco Culture, which arised in the are of the Lake Titicaca in the 3rd Century AC. The zenith was between the 6th and 9th Century AC. The most famous sight of Tiahuanco is the Sun Gate, which is about 3 meters high and 3.75 meters wide and was carved out of one single andesite block. After the downfall of the Culture, the Sun Gate was destroyed by an earthquake and broke into two pieces but it was rebuilt in 1908. Moreover, You'll visit the nearby museum, full of antique objects and tools, which show how developed the several culture has been. Afterwards you'll drive to La Paz.

DAY 9: City tour and visit of the moon valley
In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel. You'll first visit the famous witch bazar and the colonial San Francisco cathedral. The tours continues to Plaza Murillo, Where one can find the cathedrale, the governmental palace and the congress building. Afterwards, We will visit the famous colonial street parade Jaen. Here one can find various interesting museums. Then you'll visit the underground temple of the Tiwanaku culture.To change the location, You'll cross the regions Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. The city tour ends with the visit of the unique moon valley, Where you will have the opportunity to hike and visit a potter shop. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon you will have some free time.
DAY 10: LA PAZ / Sunny islands / Copacabana / Puno
Very early in the morning transfer from La Paz to the Titicaca Lake. From there,you'll drive to the southern part of the sunny islands, the legendary place of birth of the Inkas. You will visit the Inka garden, the Inka steps, the Inka springs as well as parts of the old Inka palace. We will pass several viewpoints, which impress with beautiful views on the Titicaca Lake.
Afterwards, You'll drive to Copacabana. Here, You'll visit the famous church. Transfer to Puno.
Overnight stay at the Hotel Hacienda*** or similar.
DAY 11: PUNO / CUSCO.
In the morning, you'll take a 9 hour journey to Cusco with private transfer. En route to Cusco you will pass the mountain range Vilcanota where you can enjoy the beautiful view over snow-covered peaks of "La Raya· and "Kunurana".You will also visit Pucará, Rajchi and Andahuaylillas.
Arrival in Cusco and transfer to selected hotel.
DAY 12: CUSCO: City tour and visit of nearby Inca sites.
Morning: City tour in Cusco. Visit main place, Cathedral, temple of the sun or the Koricancha. You'll continue our trip to the Inca ruins Kenko, Rambomachay, Puca Pucara and the fort of Sacsayhuamán. The fort was built on a hill overlooking Cusco and it is famous for its enormous stones which frame the outside walls of the complex. Return to hotel. Afternoon is at own disposal.
DAY 13: CUSCO: Sacred valley of the Incas.
You will visit the typical Indio market in Pisa. The market is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Indulge in the traditions of the locals on a typical market day. (Sundays the mess is held in Quechua, the language of the indigenous people). Afternoon drive through the Urubamba valley to Ollantaytambo. The fort of Ollantaytambo was built to guard the entrance to the valley and protect the city from invasion of the jungle dwellers. The site consists of numerous stacked terraces. You will also have the opportunity to walk around the village and get an impression of the military, religious and cultural centre of the Incas. Transfer to Urubamaba.

DAY 14: SACRED VALLEY / MACHU PICCHU.
Morning transfer to the train station of Ollantaytambo.You start our trip to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas. From the train station in Aguas Calientes we will drive with a bus to the beautiful citadel. The ride takes approx. 30 min. During your guided tour of the citadel you are going to visit the main plaza, the round tower, the holy sun dial, the royal rooms, the temples of the three windows and the cemetery. You will also have time for a walk on your own. In the afternoon we will return to Ollantaytambo by train. Transfer to Cusco.

DAY 15: CUSCO / LIMA.
In the afternoon, Transfer to Cusco airport. Flight to Lima. Arrival and transfer to the hotel San Agustin Colonial*** Or Similar.
DAY 16: LIMA: In the morning, Transfer to the Airport. Flight to Europe.
